Lil Nas X Expresses Repentance to the Trans Community for “Unpleasant” Joke
The transgender community has just received an apology from American singer Lil Nas X for a recent behavior that was perceived as being anti-trans. Even though he hadn’t at the time, the “Montero” chanter had joked that he had transitioned.
The singer tweeted a picture of a woman who has a striking similarity to him in a now-deleted tweet. “The operation was a success,” the caption states. On March 15, nevertheless, he made a complete about-face. He apologized to the trans community and erased the message, acknowledging that he had handled the situation poorly. Indeed, he could have done better. As a result, he apologizes and sends love to everyone he may have harmed in this way.
