Costa Titch, sometimes known as Ricky Rick, is memorialized by Major League DJz.
Some of South Africa’s well-known musicians have passed away, which has hurt the country’s music scene. As a result, there is unease throughout the sector and among South Africans as a whole. Ricky Rick, AKA, and Costa Titch were recently remembered in a quiet tribute by the South African boy band Major League.
In his studio, which was close to his home, Riky Rick, a relative of Major League DJz, a group made up of the twin brothers Bandile and Banele, committed suicide on February 23 of last year. DJ Sumbody (Oupa John Sefoka) had been shot and killed by assailants in December of that year.
Tragic events also came with the year 2023. AKA was fatally shot on February 10 at close range.
March arrived, bringing with it yet another demise in the sector. The cause of Costa Titch’s death has not yet been determined, however some sources claim that the stage’s flashing lights must have caused him to have a seizure. Costa Titch had collapsed and passed away while playing at Ultra in Johannesburg.
