Akon Honors Costa Titch With A Song

A moving eulogy for Costa Titch has been written by Senegalese-American singer Akon in the wake of his terrible loss.

Mzansi lost another cherished talent last week. The passing of Costa Titch shocked everyone. The “Big Flexa” performer passed away after collapsing on stage. Since then, social media has been inundated with condolences, and admirers have expressed gratitude to him for giving them access to his talent.

Costa worked with “Ghetto” icon Akon on the remix of his huge piano hit “Big Flexa” while he was still alive, together with Alfa Kat and MaGang. At Cotton Fest, the two not only shared the song but also disclosed a collaboration between Konvict Kulture and Titch Gang Records. Regrettably, we were unable to witness much of that activity.

Akon recently shared a memorial he wrote for the deceased singer he admired on social media. The “Locked Up” star claimed that he was blown away when Cost initially played his record for him. Read the full post below.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our brother Constantinos Tsobanoglou (aka: COSTA TITCH), after the sad unexpected event occurring last night leading to him collapsing on stage.

Costa Titch was more than just an artist. He was a brilliant superstar and hardworking man with a kind heart which endeared him to all around him.
I remember when Babs played me his record for the first time. I was convinced that he was going to make an impact in this world. Costa Titch had a vision that I knew for sure would take over the music industry globally and was on his way to doing just that when god’s plan intervened. It’s been a sad day but what makes me feel better is that I know he died doing what he loved doing the most in this world. God bless you COSTA!!!!!

The entire team at Konvict Kulture have lost a brother and an important member of the family. Our hearts go out to his family and friends.
